There was a very poor boy who worked as a servant for a wealthy man and his wicked wife.
One day this boy offended his bosses wife and in order to punish him he wasn’t going to be fed for two days, by the end of the first day his stomach had begun aching and he had no choice but to go about begging, he went from house to house on the street but everyone turned him down, just as he was about to give up he saw a young girl walking towards a gate and approached her. He told her of his ordeal and how hungry he was, she told him to wait outside while she went inside.
Minutes later she reappeared with half a loaf of bread and a sachet of milk and milo. He thanked her profusely before rushing off to devour the food.
Several years later this girl grew up and fell ill, she went to several hospitals and none of the doctors could help, finally, she was taken to a specialist Professor for treatment. In the hospital the doctor rushed into action, researching and doing his best to ensure she got better. After about two months the lady was better, but she was worried about what her bill would look like.
On the day of her discharge, she asked about her bill and was told that it had been paid. When she asked who had paid the doctor came in and reminded her of the day she gave him bread and milk when everyone else had turned him down.
“You saved me from dying of hunger that day, I never got to thank you. So this is my own way of saying thank you”
