Within the week many of us parents load our kids with store bought fruit drinks because of time constraint. However during the weekend we can spend time bonding with kids making this fruit mix drink. It contains ginger which is very healthy and will help to prevent or fight inflammation which can be caused by eating preservative containing foods and drinks all week, ginger also aids digestion and stomach trouble common with children.
Water 1/2 cup (optional)
De-seed the watermelon and chop into bits
Peel the pineapple and cut into bit
Squeeze the juice out of the orange
Peel and chop the ginger
In a blender,
Put one cup of the diced pineapple, one cup of the diced watermelon, some chopped ginger, half cup of the orange juice and a little water if you desire and blend everything.
Serve immediately or place in a fridge and serve chilled.
